A flyleaf notes the following: "This book was made by Phyllis [indecipherable] Clay (later Kennedy) whilst an art student 1916 approx for John Tremlett". An accomplished illuminated manuscript on 20 leaves of handmade paper, done in watercolor and ink, with a decorative title page, seven (mostly floral) decorative ornaments within the text, a tipped in full page illustration of cowslips, and a variety of
