Remove spacer for curved bottom slot. The string slots are pre cut to a 9. 5" radius. Graph Tech recommend filing the middle string slots a tiny bit deeper to accommodate necks that have a flatter fingerboard radius, such as 12". We recommend taking the nut and neck to a qualified guitar luthier who can carry this work out for you if you are unsure about modifying the nut.
