A lovely little piece of London Missionary Society ephemera on very attractive LMS letterhead and entirely in the hand of their Foreign Secretary, Ralph Wardlaw Thompson. It is addressed to Mrs. Lessel, probably daughter or very aged wife of the Lessels who were serving in India as early as the 1830s. By the content, it appears to be the aged
