He was educated at the rhus Tekniske Skole (Technical School) and then the Hovedskous School of Painting (Hovedskous mlarskola) in Gothenburg. He exhibited his work in solo shows throughout Denmark, Sweden and Norway and also in group shows, notably at the annual Free Exhibition (Den Frie Udstilling) and the Artists Autumn Exhibition (Kunstnernes
