Coline 2021 Domaine Ratte with dark Mediterranean berriesDomaine de la Sarazinire make Coline in both colours, and this is the red: Gamay, grown at Bussires in the Mconnais. Philippe and Guillaume Trbignaud work eleven hectares across more than two dozen parcels on an estate founded in 1926 by Claude Seigneuret, whose ungrafted Chardonnay is still standing. Picking is by hand, fermentation runs on native yeasts, sulphur is kept low, and the domaine has been converting to organic certification since 2018.
