It's thin and light, smooth and sleek, with a bit of shine and slight drape. We're guessing it's a blend of mostly silk, but with some synthetic, too; it doesn't hold a crease for very long after being crushed and makes a bit more noise when touched than silk usually does. But the fringe does feel very natural, so we're not sure. It's tightly woven and seems like a good quality
