You made the right choice getting the special bolts, and will soon be saving a half hour of your LIFE every time you remove OR install the driveline. The small 12 point head gives you enough space between the yoke and the bolt to fit a 1 4" ratchet or ratcheting wrench. If you use bolts from the hardware store, they'll have a 1 2" wrench head on them, and you'll be removing 24 threads per inch a quarter
