Each were sent to him in it appears 1945 to extend an invitation to preach for 8 days. One was for Church of the Open Door in San Francisco. This was sent by the President of Asbury, J. C. McPheeters. The other was for First Baptist Church in El Paso, sent by Rev. Dr. W. H. Rogers. Some folks, but quite attractive.
