Mixed-metal sapphire statement earrings in argentium sterling silver and 24 karat gold Calder angular style and originate inHandmade by me in my Connecticut studio. These post earrings feature dark blue sapphires dangling from hammered discs of argentium sterling silver. Tiny spheres of 24 karat gold sit at the top of the silver discs. The sapphires are heat treated, but no other treatments were used. I use only argentium sterling silver for my ear wires and the other silver elements in my jewelry.
