LA CLOSERIE DES EYRINS MARGAUX North Coast Louis Barruol took over fromThe nine hectare estate is well situated on a hillside plateau in the heart of the Margaux appellation on the left bank of the Gironde River. This parcel is on the famous plateau du Moulin a two hectare triangle that is surrounded on two sides by the vines of Chateau Margaux itself. Grapes are hand harvested, fermented in stainless steel tanks, then macerated for 21 days. 50% aged in new oak barrels, 50% in tanks for 18 months.
