For my trip down under, I had one main goal. I wanted to photograph a koala in the wild. After coming up empty in a few spots, a local changed my luck. He pointed me toward Raymond Island, a small safe place on the coast. The trip meant a short ferry ride and lots of bugs. A storm was coming that made the air feel electric. It was all worth it. The
